Friendly reminder that for the SPN season five premier, luciferiscoming trended worldwide, and P. Diddy freaked the fuck out and thought Satanists were coming onto Twitter, so he got the tag banned and trended godishere in response.

I just want to point out that this means Dean has watched the Disney Channel.

at least that’s one part of a childhood that he actually got

But The Suite Life of Zack and Cody wasn’t on when Dean was a kid. It started in 2005, when Dean was 26. So that means he watched Disney Channel as an adult.

Because he didn’t have a childhood.

i need feminism because when jesus does a magic trick it’s a goddamn miracle but when a woman does a magic trick she gets burned at the stake

i mean they did also kill jesus. that was a pretty significant thing that happened. like i understand where you’re coming from here but they very much did kill jesus.

the people who burned the witched were tripping balls

9x18 / 9x06

This is important.

"Find a wife. Makes babies. And when you die and your soul comes to Heaven, find me. Tell me your story."

Castiel has already screwed up Metatron’s original plan. Metatron’s original story involved Cas staying away from the Winchesters, falling in love with a woman, starting a family, having a normal life.

This gif set is focusing on the wrong story. This is an example of what Metatron wanted to happen.

Metatron needed Cas to stay human, to stay away from Heaven, to stay away from the Winchesters.

Cas screwed that up when he chose to steal an angel’s grace in order to help the angels and to help Dean. It always comes back to Cas choosing Dean.

Metatron needed Cas to stay away from Heaven and to stay away from them, because something about Cas in Heaven and being close to Dean is going to unravel the ending of his story.

Cas has a key to the lock on not only Heaven’s gates, but to the power within. I think Dean is the key.

This comes pretty close to my crack theory about Dean’s blood being the key to reversing Metatron’s spell and opening the way back to Heaven :p

V. interesting though - I wonder IF Metatron IS working hard to keep Dean and Cas apart because there is something specific about them being together that risks destroying his plan…

I’m content simply to believe Metatron really did/does just LIKE Cas and wanted him to have a ‘happy ever after’ story like he said… But it might be cool if there WAS more to it… (although could just be Metatron recognises Dean and Cas make a good team and thus them working together is a threat - what with their team-up history involving taking down Michael and Lucifer and head of the leviathan and all).

I think if nothing else, it’s pretty much guaranteed at this point that Cas’ endgame will be the opposite of what Metatron wants for him. It won’t be a leader of angels, it won’t be a traditional “find a wife and make babies” love story…it will be something he chooses for himself, and just based on what the show has told us so far, his choice will be staying with the person Metatron is trying so desperately to keep him away from.

Even when he handed Cas back over to the Winchesters, he simply re-wrote his story to guarantee they were once again separated. I also have this theory that the MoC is exactly what Metatron wants for Dean right now (I’m working on a meta where I talk about this a bit more), and essentially making him an emotionless killing machine is the only thing that will guarantee Heaven will stay locked for good.
